How do adjust your mind to accept that you are plus size?
I am 5'11" and probably 200 pounds at this point. Big girl. Yeah, I hear you all already. I DO work out. I have for about 8 years steady. So please don't suggest that. How does someone like me finally just accept that they are plus size and deal with it? I have always hated myself and my size. I can't keep going on like this. I work out 6 times/week…I really don't think that is the answer anymore.
You might want to talk to other women who are plus size and happy, thriving, and otherwise living normal lives. you should visit www.curvychick.com - there are thousands of plus size women there who are just doing what they do regardless of their size. In fact, the majority of them are living quite well because of their acceptance of their bodies.
You really need to find happiness - that is the only way to accept yourself. You can do that in many different ways, not just in terms of your weight. Maybe the idea is to find other things in life that make you happy NOW, not when or if you lose weight.
Good luck - I know what you're going through.

I would keep working out. Even if you don't lose any weight, it's still keeping you healthy. I believe you can be somewhat fit even if you're not at your ideal weight.
Know that you're more than a size. Tell yourself that you're the best you can be and that's all you can ask of yourself. Find happiness in other aspects of your life. It's not an easy thing to accept something that you wish you didn't have to, but remember in the end it's your happiness that counts, not the size of your jeans.
Never let another person tell you you're less, but more importantly…never let yourself be your worst critic.

Just accept it. Start planning the things you want to do and do them. Don't wait for a dress size to dictate the rest of your life. I am 175 and I climb mountains on weekends. I am who I am and so are you.
